Different generations are going to remember his entertainment differently. A conversation with my parents and uncles have left me with the impression that Michael Jackson was the man. When the 1980's arrived, he was the best. As my father put, "everything at that time was Michael Jackson."The hype was unforgettable. He had seven number one singles off of the album "Thriller." And across his career Michael became even more legendary. Even until the generations after him have an understanding of who he was.

Michael Jackson's success cannot be denied. He did, however, have a troubled personal life. Michael grew up under the spotlight. His whole life was about entertaining. From the time he was five, he was a phenom. Whatever the reason may be, Michael Jackson was committed crimes. 1 in 10 Americans have been to jail and Michael Jackson is one of them. He molested little boys. He is not a saint. Another circumstance that will be remembered is his physical appearance. Michael Jackson was born and raised to a black family. He was black for much of his life, but as the spotlight hit him, he became lighter. He died with white skin and a thinner nose.
Overall, I think Michael Jackson will be remembered as the best entertainer ever. He left a legacy in his music that has and will impact all new entertainers. Its not only the new young black male entertainers that borrow from Michael (Usher, Chris Brown etc.). He does have a scar on his career and life, but his music was amazing.
