Take 2: Wammo Papez presents: Gibberish

Last time we checked in on a Wamoo Papez he released his first mixtape Soul vs. Swagger. So what happens when you re-up the concept and create a LP, you get Gibberish.

Giberish follows Soul vs. Swagger in that it uses some of the same beats. The base for this LP is a clash. The beats sound disrupted. The interruptions between sounds and rips in the beats that leave you the listener questioning what your hearing. Its hot though. It feels mellow and silly.

To describe it best, if you listen to it seriously, you pick up all the sounds and try to paint a picture with many randomly spotted lines. But if you take a step back, you get it. Its gibberish.

What does Wamoo Papez feel about this one? Well he said "my mission was to make an album that if listened to in order would seem like a crazy homeless guy was talking to you." He even tried to make tributes, 'Silly Gangsta' was for Cam'ron and 'Un?uestionable' was for The Roots.

The album is organized. A few of the highlights this time around are 'Funnyman' and again 'The Cough Killer.' The best sample is on the outro track, worth about 8 rewinds. The low points (for me) are Pizza Raps and 'Thas Fucked Up'.

In all its an improvement from the last mixtape and worth a download. Overall about 8.5 out of 10. As for the future "expect more craziness in my third work,an EP dedicated to my favorite cartoon."
