Sad To See . . .

It is no secret that the Cleveland Cavaliers want there best player to stay in Cleveland. Athletes are moving economies with their ability to earn income solely based off of skill, ability, and the right marketing behind them.

People buy stuff. Moreover, people can be sold anything so long as it is seen by them as good. Lebron James was the NBA's Most Valuable Player for two seasons consecutively. As a commodity Lebron James is worth billions of dollars for wherever he plays.

This commercial was made to tell Lebron James how important he is to the city of Cleveland and Ohio at large. This case is being sold as, will Lebron James sign and stay with the Cleveland Cavaliers or try and sign elsewhere to try and earn more money?

Look Lebron is big business. Most of the people in this commercial are doing this in order to show there faces. Showing support for Lebron is showing support for local Cleveland people. Lebron James is not from the arena he plays. He is from a town named Akron, in Ohio. The people that he grew up with are not in this commercial. There should not be any confusion in identifying how much this is not about the people that potential who love him most.

There are also more undertones in the commercial. The commercial speaks volumes for what Cleveland is attempting to say. The line "what will our downtown be without you," only shows how important Lebron is for business. Lebron brings the city much needed dollars so he affects this community and this community at large.

What do I think Lebron will do? I think Lebron will stay in Cleveland. He has shown in the way he has been sold that he is a hometown kid. Do I know him, no, so I do not know what he is considering. Hopefully he goes to the Knicks.
