So this is the video that many people have decided to hate. Truthfully speaking, this is not the worst video made to sell something with rap music.
Look this commercial is bad in that it makes fun of hip hop. However, it is a commercial and it is selling a Volvo. It does what all bad commercials do. It pokes fun at hip hop and plays with it for a pop sound.
However this is not the first really bad stupid song. There have been worse. Remember I'm on Boat. That was not funny. Why was that not taken as serious as this video? One reason, T-Pain. T-Pain was featured on the song and it kept all of its credibility. Perhaps the only thing that is needed to make a song good, is the rappers that are featured on it.
Look anyone can make a bad song and video. I am not surprised or feel lesslike a hip hop fan because of this song. Swagger Wagon to me, sounds just like 5 Star Chick in badness.
Wow you do not even like that song anymore. The worst part is, that Swagger Wagon is not the worst commercial made using hip hop. There's the Wendy's commercials using autotune and the malt liquor St. Ides of the 1990's.
