So the Stars and Stripes decided that an important part of the American safety is to invade and occupy a foreign country while dismissing their leadership in order to prevent another group from expanding. No evidence, not any indication that we were right in going over there has been found. Over 100,000 Iraqi civilians are dead while a few thousand Americans are also dead due to combat.
So Americans are killing people in an effort to make peace.
Where do our entertainers fit into this? So recently rapper Cassidy performed in Iraq. He started off his performance by stating, "Do the Iraqi's run this mother-****er?" To which the audience of American Army Troops responded, "Hell No." The whole point of the war was to give this country back to the people. They were being ruled by a tyrant who wants to take out the United States. Well, the tyrant has been out of power for several years and the people still do not control their own land. Since 2003, what has changed? Our "leadership" has. Well, I question whether or not they will make due on peace. I certainly hope they do. Or if not, it will be more of the same, Happy New Year Everyone.
